This morning we set down our camper for the last time. Right outside the exit of our campground is the Mark Twain Cave. We signed up to go on the cave tour that was about to leave. The tour lasted about an hour. This was the cave that Mark Twain used in the book Tom Sawyer. After we left the cave, we had 375 miles to go until Louisville. The trip took more or less six hours. On our way, we stopped at Dairy Queen to get our final ice cream of the trip. When we pulled in our drive way, our dogs ran out of our barn. We jumped out of the car and loved all over them. Some of our neighbors came down to welcome us back. After they left, we set up our camper to get our belongings out. It took us a few hours to put everything away and clean up our house a little bit. Then my dad and Morgan went to the grocery store to get the basics. Our trip was an exciting adventure that is seared into my brain; I will never forget it. Thank you so much for reading my blog! As of now, our adventure is at a close! I would like to thank my parents for making this trip happen. I would like to thank my cousin for house/ dog sitting.
