Lunch at Zombie Burger was so good! I got a mac-n-cheese sandwich with mac-n-cheese (what? I've been craving it). Then we drove into Pella, Iowa. We stopped at Jaarsma Bakery (yes, I spelled it correctly) and got Dutch letters, some for us and some for the Daugherty's. People from Holland moved to Pella, Iowa, and built Dutch styled homes there. It still has a very Dutch feel to it, from the old clock tower down to the Tulip Festival. After we left the bakery, we walked down town for a while, admiring the old buildings and windmills. After we left Pella, we went to the American Gothic House used in the painting American Gothic by Grant Wood. Normally, you can dress up like the people in the painting, but the center was closed. We were dressed normally except for a spare pitchfork lying around. We took our pictures then headed down to a campsite in Hannibal, Missouri, where we had made a reservation earlier in the day. Tonight will be our last night. We were going to get there late, so we were tempted to get a hotel, but we wanted to camp since it was our final night of vacation. We'll get home tomorrow, then school will start. Our trip is almost over. Tomorrow we go home. Stay tuned to experience our adventure!
