Happy birthday Joshua! Today my little brother turned ten, so we did some special things to celebrate his birthday. This morning we slept in (YAY!). When we finally woke up at ten a.m we had a corn hole tournament. My brother and I put up a good fight, but my dad ended up winning. After we finished our tournament, we went to a small picnic spot to have breakfast. We had cereal and donuts. After we ate we went to a beach area. We swam, played volleyball, threw a frisbee, and fished (I need a new profession. All I caught was a rock). We left the beach a few hours later and headed back into Jasper (the town) for lunch and shopping. We ate, got ice cream, and shopped. Then we got back in our car and went to find a place to play (preferably a creek). We drove around for awhile, looking for wildlife and a place to play. We ended up stopping at a clear lake (it was like a glass of water; that clear) and swimming. After we got too cold, we got out and hung up our enos. Morgan and I swung in our enos, my mom napped, and Joshua and my dad fished (they didn't catch anything, other than a few rocks). We stayed there for several hours then left to go to the hot springs again. Joshua really wanted to go, so my parents consented. On our way, we stopped at another lake. There was something very special about this lake. It was only about a foot deep in the entire lake. We could walk across the whole lake! The deepest spot was maybe a foot deep. It was so wonderful. The water wasn't that cold. After we got back to our car, we headed to the hot springs. They felt even more wonderful than they did the other day. We stayed for two and-a-half hours. After we got out, we showered in the changing room. Then we went back to our campsite to have dinner. On the way we spotted two huge caribou with massive antlers right beside the road. They were amazing! We're heading down to Banff tomorrow morning. Stay tuned to experience our adventure!
